QUALIFICATIONS

I qualified as a therapist in 2001, gaining accredited status in 2004, and have been working with individuals in my private practice here in Ealing since then. I have extensive experience counselling both adults and young people: I counselled in schools and youth counselling services for 23 years alongside my private practice, and welcome enquiries from or on behalf of this age group.

PERSON-CENTRED THERAPY

The type of therapy I offer is known as Person-Centred. Founded by Carl Rogers in the 1940s, it's also sometimes known as Rogerian therapy and belongs to the humanistic school of therapy. You can read more about this type of counselling here.

COUNSELLING OR STUDYING COUNSELLING?

I offer counselling supervision to Person-Centred/Humanistic therapists at my practice in Ealing. I am a qualified counselling supervisor and have been practising since 2003.

I also offer therapy to Person-Centred counselling and psychotherapy students for whom therapy is an integral part of their training. I am always mindful of attempting to model best practice for them.

I am on the Metanoia-approved lists of Person-Centred therapists and supervisors. My practice is situated a 10-minute walk from the North Common Road, W5 building.
